We divided the project into two phases. Phase 1 involved a 1,665-square-foot building that had to be operational to permit the demolition of a 38kV switchyard so that the second phase could begin. In Phase 2, we constructed an 8,706-square-foot high bay main level with a 7,132-square-foot basement space. The Palo Seco plant has a generating capacity of 744 MW.
