The Puerto Rico Builders Association awards CIC’s housing project
The Puerto Rico Builders Association (PRBA) named Acacia Network Palacio Dorado project “Social Impact Development of the Year” during their annual convention, which celebrates construction developments that move Puerto Rico forward in an efficient and livable way.
Palacio Dorado is an affordable housing development for the senior population of 62+ years. The construction project included six buildings with 103 units of 1-bedroom with access to private outdoor space, either in the form of a balcony or ground-level patio. The buildings, arranged around a central courtyard, contributes an area for casual encounters between residents and a place to gather and build a real sense of community.
CIC’s scope of work also included a fitness center, a community room, a library, a computer lab, property management offices, and an underground garage with 52 parking spaces.
Amazing team effort and CIC collaboration with YSA Architecture. Congrats to everyone involved!
