Sartorius’s New Campus Expansion for New Manufacturing Facilities

We were the general contractors for the expansion of this facility, which added 290,000 square feet to the existing plant and doubled production. The project scope included constructing the filtration management technologies (FMT) building and the membrane and casting facility. The expansion also included laboratories, offices, and warehouse areas.
Location: Yauco, Puerto Rico
Project Value: $77 million

Amgen’s Flex Batch Facility

CIC was the general contractor for this project which included site work, site utilities, foundations and retaining walls concrete, site improvements.
Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina
Project Value: $42 million

Orange County Government’s Mosquito Control Facility

CIC oversaw site work and utilities, fencing, the construction of a new tilt-up concrete building, doors, storefronts, windows, roofing, finishes, MEP systems, and the installation of solar panels.
Location: Orlando, Florida
Project Value: $10.7 million

Seminole County’s Fire Station

The project entailed building a modern fire station with offices, living quarters, apparatus bay, and comprehensive site development. This included roadways, parking spaces, site lighting, and landscape areas.
Location: Sanford, Florida

Econo Supermarket’s New Distribution Center and Warehouses

Supermarket chain Econo selected us to design and build its new 456,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center. The scope of work included the construction of a dry warehouse, the largest refrigerated warehouse in the Caribbean, and a new headquarters office building and support areas.

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

The Fairmont El San Juan Hotel project included the construction of a fitness center and spa. Concurrent with the hotel’s expansion was an extensive renovation of existing public service areas, including the hotel entrance, lobby, casino, meeting rooms, ballrooms, bars, restaurants, restrooms, and outdoor public spaces.

Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico

We completed an extensive renovation project across the hotel’s 480 guest rooms and common areas, including the hotel entrance, lobby, ballroom, pools, and three restaurants: Water’s Edge, Nori Asian Grill, and Prime 787.
Location: Río Grande, Puerto Rico
Project Value: $17 million

Palacio Dorado

Conceived as a housing development suitable for the senior population, Palacio Dorado consisted of the construction of 103 apartment units located in six buildings surrounding a courtyard and interior gardens. The scope of work also included two laundry rooms, a fitness center, conference and computer rooms, a library, and administration offices. In 2019, the project received the Social Impact Development of the Year Award from the Puerto Rico Builders Association.

Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive is a project of new beachfront residences by the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Rio Grande. The project scope includes constructing eight buildings of three- and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses of four and five bedrooms featuring expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces and private terraces with outdoor bars and kitchens, bedrooms, and world-class finishes and amenities.

Terumo’s New Life Sciences Manufacturing Facility

Spanning 34,044 SQ FT, CIC will build the facility which will feature manufacturing zones, offices, a warehouse, a central utility building and multiple support areas.

Fujifilm’s CUB/Spine and DPFG Building Architectural Fit Outs

CIC Construction Group, as the general contractor, provided construction services for extensive interior finishes and comprehensive tank farm packages.

837 Senior Living

Tailored for the well-being of our senior citizens and set to make a vibrant addition to the town of Guaynabo, this eight-story multifamily building will feature 192 one-bedroom residential units, gym, laundry facilities, community lounge with a kitchen, reading room and a public courtyard for community enjoyment.
Location: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
Project Value: $53 million

Bahia Apartments

Upcoming multifamily housing project that is currently under construction. The project involves 104 units across 11 floors, featuring panoramic views of San Juan Bay. It includes a double-height lobby, parking and service areas, administrative offices, a terrace, and lounge, and 1,2 and 3-bedroom units modifications with balconies on the upper floors.

Project Value: $30 million

The Vanderbilt Residences

This project is poised to become the tallest residential building in the metropolitan area of Puerto Rico, featuring 66 oceanfront residences and 25,000 square feet of amenity space. The tower, with a 75-foot infinity pool and other features, will set a new standard on the island.
