History

CIC Construction Group began as a general contractor specializing in pharmaceutical construction. From day one, we focused on establishing a reputation for delivering results that exceed expectations and formed lasting relationships in the industry.

With experience came the opportunity to diversify into other industries. Each project helped us build strong client relationships and expand our expertise, solidifying our position as a trusted contractor across multiple industries.

Excellence, integrity, and safety are in our DNA.

We embraced new technologies and expanded operations to the U.S. mainland, establishing offices in North Carolina and Florida. The company also increased its focus on safety, sustainability, and cutting-edge construction methods, leading to collaborations with high-profile clients like The Ritz Carlton Reserve, Nordstrom, and Fairmont San Juan Hotel.

In the initial years, we focused on the industrial sector, particularly in the manufacturing industry. To grow our company, in the 1990s Hermida and Gallo decided to diversify and expand into other areas, such as hospitality, commercial, housing, warehouse, and healthcare.

Major projects like the Sartorius Campus Expansion and the Econo Supermarket chain New Distribution Center reflect our ongoing growth and adaptability. Today, CIC stands as a leader in diverse industries, delivering excellence driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
